Making Monday Pretty: The Perfect Cat-eye

One of the chicest makeup looks around is classic cat eyeliner, however, it can also be one of the trickiest to master! Here are our fool-proof steps on how to get this gorgeous eye look.
1. Line your entire eye. We find it easier to use strokes or small dots even rather than trying to draw one smooth line. We also recommend resting your elbow on a hard surface to steady yourself!
2. From the outer edge of your eye, draw your flick. The best way to determine the angle of your flick, is to draw it pointing towards the end of your eyebrow.
3. Once you've got your flick in place and the angle and length are even on both eyes, using your eyeliner, connect the tip of your flick to your eyeliner, and fill in the little triangle and voila!
Using this technique you can make your cat-eye as subtle of exaggerated as you please depending on the look you are going for. We find the easiest liquid liner to use is the felt-tip kind, our favourites are Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner and Cover Girl LineExact Liquid Liner.
