Making Monday Pretty: Hot Health Foods of 2015

As much as we absolutely looove beauty products, we also firmly believe in beauty from the inside out. Below are some super healthy foods that we keep hearing more about and are working into our daily routines to keep us feeling and looking great.

1. Turmeric. Yes we know this is a spice not a food, but we love adding this to our dishes and specifically our juices for a nice spicy kick. Very rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory, this spice can help protect the skin from aging and is actually starting to pop up in beauty products. Although we haven't tried it yet we know lots of people use it in face masks.

2. Matcha. You've probably seen this listed as a tea or latte option, but this green tea powder doesn't have too much flavour and can therefore be added to almost anything, from pasta to chocolate cake for a major nutritional spike. High in antioxidants, it is believed that matcha can boost your metabolism, and lets be honest, who doesn't love that?

3. Seaweed. Rich in amino acids and vitamins, seaweed is great for your skin and is also rumoured to help boost your metabolism. We find seaweed particularly easy to incorporate into our diet by adding it to salads and find wakame or kelp to be the most nutrient rich.
