Loeffler Randall Spring 2015 Inspiration
Posted by Hayley French on
Every season we get inspired by Loeffler Randall's new collections and the new outfits we can make starring their gorgeous handbags and shoes, so here is a little background on what inspired creative director and designer Jessie Randall this spring.
"Spring 2015 began with the idea of a muted, soft palette of whites, beiges, mints and pale nude pinks. This understated palette of colors that are wearable and neutral informed a concept of impactful subtlety and lush textures. Tactile, textural and scultpural elements such as rich leather tassels, perforated circles and tubular leather mignons are found throughout the collection on thick vachetta totes, fun tasseled bucket bags and on sandals and sneakers. Raw materials are natural and earthy, ranging from woven raffias to pale grey snakeskin to beautiful veg-tanned vachettas. These are juxtaposed against techy elements including iridescent saffiano and opaque geometric stones. Silhouettes are simultaneously casual and luxurious, from a heavily-jeweled pool slide to a fringed tote that’s ideal for taking along to the beach to a woven raffia lace up sneaker with the perfect summer vibe."
