Baz Luhrmann's 1996 adaptation of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet will forever be a heart melting modern day classic. Starring a very good-looking Leonardo DiCaprio alongside an equally youthful Claire Danes, this romantic drama set in Verona Beach is very capable of shaking you to your core even seventeen years after you first watched it. A dreamy soundtrack, gritty settings and passionate performances paint the picture of hope, despair, tragedy and love; Romeo and Juliet's most prominent messages. We know fall has just begun but we can't help but already be looking forward to spring after our recent buying trip in New York! This week we were inspired by one of the beautiful new Minaudières from Loeffler Randall. We are loving this new shape and are finding ourself wearing it all the time, as a clutch in the evening and a petite crossbody during the day with jeans and a tee! Having just bought the new Maria Luisa nail polish from Zoya's fall collection, we couldn't help but think how well these two would complement each other. We know this movie is dirty and may be offensive to some, but 2002's The Sweetest thing is so laugh-out-loud funny that we can't help but adore this friendship driven romantic comedy. Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate, and Selma Blair star as three best friends who find themselves entwined in both romantic and sexual misadventures as their own versions of Mr. Right enter their lives. This week we kept it simple and brought the colour of the season to our nails, burgundy! Not only is this colour super chic in clothing but on nails too, and bonus, it looks great with pretty much every skin tone.
